I Can't Update my Theme

Hi there,

I need some help with the theme update.

I installed the theme on a demo site and migrated the the site to a new address.

I can no longer update the theme because I need to delicensed the old one which I have already deleted.

how can you help me with this one.

Hi there,

I understand very well what the article means, the problem is the demo site that I used to build the website is already been deleted and I already put the license on it which is carried by the live site now upon migration. I can no longer deregister the license there because the site is already deleted and I want to update the live site that I am using now but I can't do it because it is not allowing me due to the license being registered to the old demo site.

How can you help me on this? Or I will not update my themes anymore.

So use the api tool, it was specially created for users who removed the theme files without deregistering the license. You can deregister it there and then use the key on another project.
We suggest deregisterng/registering the key again in the betheme tab.

I cannot deregister the account because the previous website which is registered is already been deleted because it is only a demo/staging site.

once I migrated the site I already deleted the demo/staging.

how can I deregister it through api if I cannot access the site already. is there another way?

If you deleted the theme before you deregistered it then please use this tool to deregister it remotely.
