Update page gives an error

hello,

We have a problem when saving a page at the backend (even nothing has been changed, gives the error "

Error thrown

[] operator not supported for strings

What could be wrong?

    Disable all plugins and try to save a page again.

    Yes this is the whole error message
    I disabled all the plugins but still the same error


    The frontend is ok, only the revolution slider is not working anymore

    The history:
    This morning i noticed i didnt get any acces to the backend. The provider got it, saw a lot of errors in the revolution slider and renamed the revslider folder to revslider_  and i had acces to the backend again
    Now i have acces to the backend but cannot save anything "error thrown [] operator not supported for strings

    Check your system status, is everything ok there?
    What is your PHP version?
    We think this is a hosting problem, you may need to contact your hosting providor.
    We suggest removing the theme completly from your FTP and installing it again.

    Hello, we checked everything with the provider, and the conclusion would be to rebuild the site fomr scratch....bad day...
    How to deal with the theme license?
    I need the license for a fresh wordpress install, can i remove the license form the "old"website whihc is still in the air until the new ready and will it still work?

    How to remove?
