Google Map API - "For dev purposes only"

Hello, I am having an issue with the map section of muffin builder. On the dev site, the map displays as needed. On the now live site, everything is screwed up. (Scroll about halfway down or visit the contact page.)

I have tried de-registering the theme on the dev server and it did not help. What should I do to resolve this issue?

Hey,

remember to pass the google maps api key in theme options>global>advanced.

It could not work on the other domain because you did not point to that domain in your google account.

The api key will work only on the domains you set in your google account.

Hi Bryan,

The dev site (first link) does not have an API key in theme options>global>advanced, the field is empty. The descriptor also reads "optional"

We do not have a paid google cloud account that we linked either. So I'm still left scratching my head as to why the Maps are functioning in dev and not on live?

Hi, we added a Map Basic Item.

You can add there an iframe which not require Google Maps API.
