Hi,

Is there a size guide for the Masonry flat portfolio?

Some of the images is sometimes not wide or tall enough.

Thanks

  • Hi,
There are many types of featured images in the theme, here are instructions for changing them:
    1. To change the size of the images used in portfolio/blog/shop, please navigate to theme options>blog, portfolio&shop>featured image.
    2. To change the size of the default WordPress gallery images, please go to settings>media.
    More information HERE

    Notice!
Remember to use thumbnail regeneration after you make your changes. Otherwise, the images will not change their size.

    thanks
  • Hi after your comment I found the sizes:
Portfolio: style Masonry Flat - default, big: 1280x1000, wide: 1280x500, tall: 768x1200

Maybe you should add them to the documentation as well as I looked for them there...8)

    Thanks
  • Hi again, is there a way to create the order of the images so that you don't get weird blank spaces between the images.

A pattern to follow or similar?
  • Hi,
Please always attach a link so we can check it out. If the page is offline(localhost) then our help will be limited, you will have to contact us when the page is online. Also please make sure that the page is not under maintenance before you provide us the link.
It is always a good idea to also attach a screenshot, for that use services like snag.gy or pasteboard.co
    thanks
  • Ok the site is in progress - but you can check at http://sotn.jipjip.dk/portfolio/

There's still a lot of cases missing, but we won't upload until we know what sizes to make the thumbnails in e.g. wide, tall, big, default etc.. So therefore is there a pattern we can follow or is it only the demo we can look at?

    Thanks
  • Masonry layout always ends like this.
It's impossible to manage the image placement.
    Thanks.
