Hi, sorry not sure what the difference between a submenu and a menu below the main menu is. Basically I want a second menu which can go above or below the main menu but near the top of the page and not in the footer.
If you go to appaerance>>menus>>manage locations you will be able to choos your exisiting menus for other places. For example if you have the action bar enabled, you can select a menu for the "social menu top" This way you will have a menu in the place of the social icons.
The secondary menu can be also set, it will be used in header types like split, magazine.
You would have to test and see which one fits you best.
