Gallery Shortcode

Greetings!
How can I apply [gallery type=”rectangular”] gallery look to my galleries? According to Version 6.7 update, I can use "Gallery Shortcode - Option to disable if you want to use external gallery plugin"

I figured I can use Jetpack's Tiled Galleries plug-in. I really need something different for my photography website then flat galleries.

Hi,

this option is not available with default wordpress. Styles are available with Jetpack plugin only.

yes, but how do I apply them? I've turned on the jetpack plug-in and Tiled Galleries option, but the [gallery type=”rectangular”] doesn't work.

Maybe above shortcode is not complete? Where are the id's of images included into gallery? For us your shortcode looks like incomplete.

Ohh, ok. So you mean special layouts for galleries but this unfortunately won't work at this moment. If you want similar layout, then you can use portolio item instead which allows to use similar layout. You can see this example at http://themes.muffingroup.com/be/marketing/

Where do you found the ID of the images?

@soasti Under "Media" section ,you must switch to list layout and then while you hover over an image you got post=xxx art of link where xxx is image ID.
