URLs have /page/#/ added to Pages that are not paginated

  I have disabled all plugins and cleared cache.

  
  

  We are seeing valid URLs of https://www.workwithsherpa.com/website-content-writing/page/2/ when the actual page is just https://www.workwithsherpa.com/website-content-writing/. 

  
  

  There is no pagination for this page. There is no Page 2. It is a page not a post. 
  

  
  

  Something is tacking on "/page/2/" to the URL on some pages. We have never seen this happen before.

  Can you check if this happens while the parent theme is turned on?

  I contacted DevTeam, and they told me, that this is normal Wordpress behavior we do not interfere with this.
  You have to download some plugin for 404 page.
