I still cannot update

At Envato Market plugin I get this error: Update Failed: The package could not be installed

At Bethemeupdate It gets me to the themes update and I get this error:

An error occurred while updating Betheme: The package could not be installed. The package contains no files.

I know my support has long past, but I could never update, even when my support was active and I asked again to fix this but was never fixed.

Please advise

Hey,
this message could mean that your license key is used on more than one domain.
Please use this tool to manage your license keys:
http://forum.muffingroup.com/betheme/discussion/36219/cannot-register-deregister-your-license-key-use-this-tool#latest

Also, please deregister and register your license again.

Then, try to update your plugin like 2-3 times.

Hello Pablo

It has been a while.

I tried to update again, same problem.

The tools tell me that I have not any licenses with the purchase code and my envatousername, which is strange, as the wp dashboard has the theme as registered!

The website is currently using Be 20.9.9 and WP 5.0.4

Any help ?

Hey Mike,

we were able to update the theme. You most likely moved the theme without deregistering it first.

In that case we always suggest deregistering and registering the theme again.

PS: LayerSlider WP cannot be updated

Hey Kime,

it was one of your plugins that caused this problem. We think it might have been the defender plugin. The update went thru succesfully when we disabled the plugins.
