retina.js @2X not working

Since I updated the theme (version 20.0.2) retina.js is not charging images@2x.

Can you help me to solve this issue?

Hi,

The newest version of the BeTheme is 21.0.2.

Please be sure that your theme is up to date.

Also, please disable all of the plugins, clear the cache of your browser and check if the issue still exists.

And analysing my website with inspector, I just realise that retina.js script is not loading...

I tested it on Retina display and it works fine.

But, I can see that you have a lot of images for retine on the "http" domain, not https.

Please, use this plugin to migrate old urls:

I just use the plugin to migrate old urls.

But the same issue continues... All the images appear pixelate, because @2x is not loading automatically.

When I open the inspector, the images listed are without @2x.

I hope you can help to solve this issue.

The problem is, that the WP Bakery (Visual Composer) does not support the retina.js script.
Our hands are tied in that case.

All we can suggest is to contact the plugin's author and ask him, how to make it compatible or use the Muffin Builder.

Thanks for your quick answer.

But I don´t understand why this issue is happening now...

Before the update 21.0.2 everything was working fine - All images @2x were loaded without any problem and pages are builded with WP Bakery since the begin.

Further, this page https://www..../historia/ is built with Muffin Builder and the issue persists....

The retina script are not gonna work in the "tooltip" feature.

Javascript is not loading there, so it's not gonna 'replace' the image.

So how do you explain that was working before properly?

I just test create a page with muffin builder, adding a image: https://www......pt/test-retina/

But as you can see the issue persists...

we have found out that the retina.js plugin is causing a conflict with the theme and wordpress. We will fix it as soon as possible. Please wait until friday, we will release an update with a proper fix.
