Remove Post Meta

Hi I have a blog slider on the homepage of my site (which is not live yet and under construction is on). I have tried everything to hide the post meta but it still shows the date above the post title on the blog slider. I have unchecked all the post meta boxes in Theme Options, I have tried CSS, but nothing works. Can you advise what I am missing?

Hello,

maybe you did not set the main blog page correctly. Please do that in settings>reading.

There always has to be a posts page set.

Thanks, the posts page is set to another page, and the date is not showing on the posts on that page. I cannot set the homepage as the posts page (my site is not a blog) but the blog slider on the home page is still showing just the date. The other post meta are not showing, just the date??

Can you send us a link to your website with disabled 'under construction' mode?

We have to check what can be the problem.

Yes, I think the client will allow the site to launch as is, and I will send the link as soon as it is live. Thanks so much for your help and responsiveness.

Please see the blog slider on the homepage under the headline "See What's In Store..."

I still cannot remove the date showing on each post in the slider.

You can remove it with this css

.blog_slider .date_label {
	display:none !important;
}
