Variables & Item Prices not Showing in Order Confirmation or backend

hi there.

I'm using woocommerce and have items with several variations/attributes. These are all set up in the backend correctly. However...

When a user specifies an item and pays for it, the specifics are not shown in the order confirmation (they are shown on checkout page) or in the order confirmation section in the products section.

Order confirmation displays total cost of basket, but does not itemise items.

On my website I am selling tickets so need to ensure that the confirmation email and the admin panel show the value and item specifics.

Did you change the "HTML" template of the E-Mail which comes to you after purchasing some item?

Please go to the WooCommerce > Settings and manage the "New order" e-mail

It's all enabled as needed. The customer receives the email, but it doesn't contain the specifics of the order - or the individual prices of the items bought. This means that there is no differentiation between tickets (so in theory if I wanted to sell x20 tickets for each slot, five times a day, that's x100 tickets. I want my customer to specify the time of arrival. So I've added variables based on time, This is the information that is not being recorded anywhere that I can find? Which seems odd.

I've looked at adding custom fields to email. but not sure why it doesn't pull through (below is original code for email, it already says 'order details'...

You must have create the variables not correct - I created some structure on my local machine and it works fine.

Please check the documentation, follow all of the steps and try once more:
