Logged Out from Admin

Guys I urgently need help, your theme logged me out from Admin when I activated the Maintenance Mode. My Admin login url is /the-matrix (rather than /wp-admin)

I urgently need to get back in as media cannot see the content as its embargoed.

    Hello,
    I do not understand the problem at all.
    You can get into the admin panel while the maintenance mode, wp-admin(the-matrix) is not disabled while this mode is enabled.

    I used FTP to disable the plugins and got in finally. The problem was that the wp-admin and my own url which I setup to login was diverting me to a 404 page, which is still the case by the way.

    So the bug is, if a plug in is used to change the url from wp-admin to anything else then the login page diverts to the 404 page once your maintenance mode page is activated. I found that this was not the case when I used a maintenance page plugin.
