Deregister not working

Hi,

The de-register tool in other threads in this forum didn't work. The website was created by a company that is no longer working with us. They had a copy of the website in their server and activated the license there. We purchased a new one and are trying to deregister to register the new license but it keeps giving us the error

Referer domain is different than registered domain. Please contact us using contact form on our Themeforest profile page:

https://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup

So, here we are. The new license has not been registered before and we don't know the username of the previous license so the tool shared around here can't be used.

How can we deregister the old license without using the tool from this forum?

Thanks Pablo. Why is it not possible to simply deregister a license? Many other themes and plugins allow that easily, this seems like an overcomplication.

I am not currently using the theme on my website SearchEngineOp, but liked it from trying it with the shiftct.com website. I wanted to give it a go with one of our properties, but this deregistration seems rather unnecessarily complex. So, I imagine there must be a reason that I am not seeing.

There is option, but you don't want to use it, the tool from our forum:

But, if you don't want to use it or it does not work, you have to contact us through the contact form.
