Removing bright background behind the language flags

Dear all,
I really enjoy working with BeTheme. The webpage is as good as ready, but I have one problem:
How do I get rid of the bright grey background behind the language flags?

The best would be to have the flags replaced with a simple: EN / DE (for English/German).

Hi,

this background can be removed within below css:

#Top_bar .wpml-languages.horizontal { border: 0; background: none; }

Is there also a way to replace the flags with text (EN for English / DE for German)?

At this moment we do not have option to use text instead of flags but we'll consider this while future updates for sure
