How to put Exposure Portfolio into a page

edited December 2019 in Portfolio
Hi, I have some trouble finding the right info about Exposure portfolio (https://themes.muffingroup.com/be/theme/portfolio/exposure/). What I need is to put it into a page of BeFactory (https://themes.muffingroup.com/be/factory2/) theme, making every entry linked to Single Project 7 (portfolio item, https://themes.muffingroup.com/be/theme/portfolio-item/single-project-7/). As I read on documentation, Muffin Builder should allow me to choose a "template" or to import one, but the template field is blank (I can see only "-select-"). Am I missing something? In general, what is the best way to import bits of other demos into the one I'm using, as long as I can't see any shortcode?
Any reference would be helpful.

Thanks a lot!

  • Hi,
If you are new to BeTheme, we suggest taking a look into:
    2. List of shortcodes and items with examples: http://themes.muffingroup.com/be/splash/

Main layout of the main portfolio page, have to be selected in the Theme Options > Blog, Portfolio & Shop > Portfolio

Then, to select a template for single portfolio project, just edit it and you will have to select it from the "Templates" dropdown field

Templates which you told about are for the "Templates" for the Muffin Builder which have to be created first in the "Layouts" on the WP Dashboard.

    Thanks
  • Thanks for such a generic response. Yes I'm new to BeTheme, and yes I have already checked all those options: they explain pretty nothing.

"Templates" dropdown doesn't show me the list of templates, but only "default, builder and intro header".

I just need a way to get Exposure portfolio and Single project 7 into a page of Factory2 demo, without building it from scratch - that's why I buy themes - but none of those resources explains how to do. "Templates" and Layouts" side panes are empty, so I don't know where to draw those pages from.

    Thank you.

  • Main layout (including the Exposure) of the main portfolio page, have to be selected in the Theme Options > Blog, Portfolio & Shop > Portfolio

Single Product 7 is a "Intro Header" template, select it, upload a "Header Image" and hit save, it will start looking like the template you need.
All other things are made using the Muffin Builder and items inside.

    Thanks
  • Thank you, I've come this far too. Two more things for now:

    1. So there is no way to "copy-paste" the page Single Product 7 exactly as it looks in the demos? I have to build it from scratch, right?

    2. Where could I edit the description text (client, website, task) in portfolio item options? I'd need to edit the attribute name, not only its value.

    Thanks
  • 1) There is no way to copy it, but there is another option, find for your desired portfolio through the pre-built websites, you can imprort them, so all content will be copied too.

    2) All of the "translatable" strings can be changed in the Theme Options > Translate > Blog & Portfolio, there you can find the "Client", "Website" and "Task"
    Thanks
  • Great, I'll give it a try. Thank you very much!
