Content of the sidebar on my blog posts disappear

Hi,

I hope you can help me out with the following problem.

In BeTheme - Theme Options - General - Sidebars I created several sidebars. I selected in the Single Post section: Right Sidebar.

When I then go to View - Widgets I see the sidebars that I created. I can fill them with widgets and when I select the right sidebar in my blogpost (in the Layout section I select Right Sidebar and in the Sidebar selection I select the sidebar I need) After doing that, I can also see the content of the widgets on my blogpost. Somehow, the content of the widgets disappears after a short while. It happened so many times, I still don't know what causes this problem. It seems like that when I edit a sidebar, it happens.

And, I also see sidebars in the list with the same names of my destinations, but I can't select these ones in my blogposts. The names are like 'Blog | Instameets'. I use the name 'Blog - Instameets'.

I really hope you can help me to tackle this problem! At the moment there is no sidebar because I can't add it somehow.

Hello,

in these types of "strage" cases we always suggest to disable all of your plugins first and then check again.

When I deactivate all my plugins the content of the sidebar disappears. But there is no sidebar to see at all

You made two mistakes:

1) You used the special sign, please get rid of it:

2) Provide the name of sidebar in sidebar settings:

After that, everything should work fine - remember to test it with all of the plugins disabled.

1) I removed the special sign.

2) I would like to use different sidebars on my blog posts, so what name should I use in sidebar settings? I thought I have to set that up in the blog post settings..

Hey,

you can set separate sidebars for individual posts. Just edit the single post and scroll down to page options.

It doesn't work well and it drives me crazy!!!!!!

What's going on?! IT DOES NOT WORK!

Only when I provide the name of the sidebar in sidebar settings it will show a sidebar, but then this sidebar shows up on every page. Even though I set separate sidebars for individual posts!!!!!! When I remove the name of the sidebar in sidebar settings all the sidebars are gone again.

Can I get my money back? I want to skip this theme, it drives me mad big time.

You had enabled the "right sidebar" with any sidebar applied in the sidebar settings.

I changed it to "Meta default"

Of course, you can overwrite the sidebar there, but you have to provide the name of the sidebar, otherwise it will treat it as a empty sidebar, so it will not be displayed.
