Website Painfully Slow due to Resource Blocking

Hi, 

I am planning on completely redoing my website soon. That said, it is currently super slow and I don't want to make the same mistakes again. Also, I want to use a child theme next time. (How do I go about getting one?) 

I would like an honest opinion about how bulky the Be Theme is... is it causing ridiculously slow loading speeds? Or is this issue of resource blocking something that I can fix manually? 

[Links visible only for registered users] -> Loading times between 4.4 and 5.1 seconds and yes, I do have some optimization plug-ins already installed. 

I do intend on having an image-heavy website.

    Hello,
    The Child Theme is attached in the package with the theme, just download it once more from the themeforest.
    The loading time depends on a lot of elements, including heavy images, poor hosting, videos, plugins, scripts from CDN and much more.
    You must be aware, that our theme is a wordpress template, which will not be loading as fast like websites which are written from the scratch.

    But, our websites (on splash) loads in 1-2s which is really nice result.
    What we can suggest is to care about these elements I mentioned earlier.
