remove unwanted padding

Hi,

on my homepage theluxurytraveller.com I have one section: "free luxury hotel perks for my readers"

The background wrap of this section has extra padding on the sides which stops this section aligning with the ones above and below.

I've tried numerous different background setting but can't seem to fix this. Can you please help?

The problem is that you have inserted all items inside columns, and not used wraps. You should use more wraps when you are building.

Please try to go to the section options and disable the horizontal padding.

I'm not sure what you mean. Each section has its own separate wrap and each wrap contains individual columns.

Horizontal padding is set to 0 in the section.

The wrap doesn't have an option for horizontal padding.

Can you please explain what needs to be done here given that I am indeed using wraps and the horizontal padding is set to 0?

As Bryan said, you should use more wraps, please create more of them.

Make a separate "Wrap" for first column and then, two wraps (1/2) for image and column for both sides (left and right)

Hi Pablo,

Unfortunately this appears to have made things worse.

Now the horizontal padding is still not fixed.

Plus an extra issue has now been created: the two 1/2 sections are not aligned at the bottom

I've now cecked the below in the new section to align the two halves:

Equal Height | items in wrap
Equal Height | wraps

However the horizontal padding is still spilling out beyond everything else on the page

Hi Pablo,

I tried this previously and have just saved again with remove horizontal margin checked.

Unfotunately it makes no difference at all.

After adding all of these extra wraps the layout still has the extra padding on the sides and now the image on the left spills beyond the background vertically as well.

Hi Pablo,

I ended up getting this fixed via CSS. I put both sides into a single wrap and reduced it to 98% width.

The issue is now resolved.
