Exclude a page from search

Hello,

i use betheme on my wordpress page (kunstkaufen.at). I try to hide one page in the search results. The page (kunstkaufen.at/kuenstler) should not be showed in the results if somebody search something on the page. I really don´t know how it works.

I tried the plugin "Search Exclude" and i exclude the single page but it doesn´t work. I also tried to put some code, witch i found in the internet, in the function.php but it didn´t work. Nothing change at all.

It would be great, if anyone can help me with the problem!

Hello,

We use the same search functionality as the wordpress do.

The only way to hide the post from searching, is changing his visibility to "Private" while editing that post/page.

The page (kuenstler) should not be "private". The page is important for the user of the homepage! It should be only hide in the search results, if a user use the page-search.

So, it will not be possible.

There is no option in wordpress to hide the page from search when it's not private.
