Custom fields content on layout

Hi. We've been using BeTheme for more than six years and we love the theme, we use it with almost all of our projects and introduce it to our clients as well.

We'd like to know if there's a way to pick up custom fields content and put it into the layout made out from Muffin Builder. For portfolio items we are expanding the default fields (client, website, task) with custom new ones, and we would like to show them on the final layout. So we thought maybe is there a way, perhaps through shortcodes, for taking a custom field content and then insert its actual value in a Muffin Builder item content.
