Drop down menu items disappear on scroll

My main menu is stuck to the top of a site I am developing and the drop down menus appear fine. When I scroll down the page the main menu stays at the top and if I roll over the main menu titles the drop down menus appear but if you move the mouse to click on them they disappear. You have to scroll back to the top again to choose a drop down menu item - how can I fix this so the drop down menu items are active where ever you are on the page?

Are you asking about that menu items are really pushed down when scroll, right?

That's because of your custom css code, remove it and it will work fine.

Thanks - though that does work when you are scrolling now when you are at the top of the page there is quite a wide gap between the top nav menu item and the drop down sub menu panels - is there way of closing that up but leaving the scroll position as it is?
