Page title (displayed in tab of the browser) changes to URL after loading the page

Hi all,

I have set up the website

with BeTheme and one of the available pre-installable websites.

When loading a page the title is displayed correctly in the tab of the browser.

After the page is loaded, the title changes to the URL.

It is not my first WP site and I have no clue why. Any idea why?

Also, wordpress settings>general

Are you using any SEO plugin?

thanks for your reply.
I checked the SEO option within the theme options.

Just to check I switched on/off the built in fields. No change.

In the general settings of the WP installation the complete name of the website is inserted.

Otherwise I couldn't see it for two seconds.

I don't use any other SEO plugin.

Can you disable all of the plugins, clear the cache and check, if the issue still exists?

I think, that the problem is coming from cache/minify plugins that you are using.

thanks for your response.

As a matter of fact I identified the cause.

I embed a hotel booking sniplet, which changes the title.

Workaround with JS code and reported it to the supplier of the sniplet.

So the reason for this phenomenon is not within yout theme.

So cased closed ;-)
