Can I overwrite the theme on folder without losing site content?

Hello. I need to overwrite an old betheme installation. Do i just overwrite it on the ftp folder? There is any content that i need to backup?

And what about the plugins, like Slider Revolution? Do I need to export my projects and reimport after overwriting the theme folder?

You should not lose them, because all of them are stored in the database.
