How to have sidebar on blog/category/search results pages ?

Hi !

I'd like to have 1 sidebar (right) on all pages of my wordpress website.

My Setup (Sidebars - General) :
Page | Layout : Right Sidebar
Post | Layout : Right Sidebar
Portfolio | Layout : Right Sidebar

It's working fine except for archives and search results pages.

In Widgets menu, there's a sidebar for Blog category, It says : Appears only when you select sidebar for Blog.
I can't manage to find where and how i can select this "sidebar for Blog" option.

Hi,

if you want to force one sidebar for all pages, you can do this under Theme options > Sidebars section.

Thanks, that's what i did, but didn't work for archives and search results pages.

I found the solution, thanks to another topic.

I had to define the page for my posts (blog page) in Settings > Reading section, and then define the layout Right Sidebar in the page Options of my blog page.
Now i have a sidebar on archives pages.

But I still don't have sidebar on search results page.
Is it possible to have one ?

Ok, we didn't know that you did not setup blog page. But unfortunately it is not possible to have sidebar on search page.
