Setting mobile breakpoint to 768px

Is it possible to set the mobile breakpoint for overall theme design to 768px rather than greater than 768px? And what is the reason for that hard-baked breakpoint.

The page I am designing looks good on everything but an iPad held vertically.

Hello,
You can change breakpoint for the mobile menu only in "Betheme > Theme Options > Responsive > Header"

Breakpoints for content are hardcoded in the Theme code, and they cannot be changed in Theme Options

Thank you. Perhaps if I am more clear about what I am wanting to do, you will be able to help. I have two columns side by side and one carries a fair amount of text. I would like to have them stacking rather than sitting side by side on an iPad. Thanks again. Denise

You can make one particular section for a tablet only using Responsive Visibility, it will hide this section for other devices than tablet.
You can change that in section options.
