Standard search widget not working

I
work with BeTheme (v 21.9), wordpress (v 5.5.1), and I build the page
with Elementor. Regardless of the search word, all posts are displayed
in the search results. What could be the reason for this?

    Please always attach a link so we can check it out. If the page is offline(localhost) then our help will be limited, you will have to contact us when the page is online. Also please make sure that the page is not under maintenance before you provide us the link.

    Hi Phil, the site is still in the development environment. And I want to solve this problem before we go online. Besides I have a second problem: We use the plugin Easy FancyBox for picture galleries. Clicking on a post image now opens two images - once forced by the plugin and once by theme function. Can I disable this function somewhere? Is it possible to send your email address, so I can provide you with the access details and screenshots (not open to the public)? Best regards

    Sorry, but we did not test this script/plugin with the theme. Our policy states that we do not support third party plugins or custom code so unfortunately, we cannot be of any help to you.
    Also, we cannot recommend any plugins other than the ones we support. You can find the list on this page, in the sidebar:

    Please, check if that issue still appears if you turn off all of the plugins.

    Hi Phil,

    the homepage is live now, see https://www.toskanaspezial.de/ 

    Still I have two problems: 

    1. Search widget not working:  
    Regardless of the search word, all posts are displayed in the search results. 
    For example: Search for "VILLA CHELI" - and all 63 Hotels (posts) are listed
    What could be the reason for this? 

    2. Classic Blog Layout:
    The last two post excerpts are displayed in a bold font. (see screeshot Descending) image
    When I change the order from Descending to Ascending it is even the last four. (see screeshot Ascending). image 
    The excerpt of all posts have the same format.  How to display regular font weight for all post excerpts?

    1. That is how WP search works, and it will display everything that contain every single word divided with space, and we cannot help you with that.

    2. I saw that you have couple of HTML errors in source of your website.
