Multisite Licensing and Registration
How can I activate a sub-domain on a WP multisite with a different license? I tried activating the sub-domain with a different license but it showed it was already activated and using the same license as the top domain.
The client cannot operate under the same domain name in a different state. That's why they're using two DIFFERENT domain names. The sites will look exactly the same except for location and business name info.
I don't want my client to be in breach or have their site shut down because they did purchase a second license. Please advise.

You can use one license for your main domain, and sub-domain but important thing is to activate your license on main domain first.
