Betheme Licenses

We have setup a Wordpress Multi-site which will be hosted over 2 different domains and will be 2 different websites. (these will not be subdomains but full domains)

We purchased 2 licenses for your theme. But when we enter the license key into the welcome section on the dashboard of each domains multi-site it deregisters the other license code and overrides it. It will not pick up the different domains and relevant licenses. Your API has picked up the 2 licenses in the "http://api.muffingroup.com/" but has them registered for the same domain.

How can we register the 2 different licenses for the the 2 different domains on Wordpress Multi-site?

  • Hello,

Please, tell me if I am getting this right.

When you have registered the first domain and try to register the second one, it overwrites the first domain with the license key you used for the second one?

Also, please, change the Table Prefix setting to Prefix in Betheme -> Theme options -> Global -> Advanced. This will not solve your issue, but it is a good habit to do that because it will prevent problems related to that in the future.

    Thanks

  • Hi,

    That is correct.

Thanks for the setting change info, I have changed the setting you suggested.

You propably made a mistake while you were trying to setup the multisite.

Please, be sure that you made every step correctly.

I cannot give you any other tips answers because we do not provide help with configuration of Multi-site environment.

    Thanks

  • Hi

I have checked and there is no mistake in the WordPress multisite setup.

It is working correctly along with your theme.

    Your theme states:

"Important! One standard license is valid only for 1 website. Running multiple websites on a single license is a copyright violation."

As we are running 1 Wordpress install, would you count this as 1 website?

We would not want to breach your licensing conditions.

If you are happy with this we will continue regardless.

Thank you for all your help

  • BeTheme is compatible with the multisite recognization and a lot of customers are using it, so there is surely no problem on theme side.

    As the regulations says:

You can use one license per end product, so you can use any pre-built website you desire or mix them but you cannot use the theme license on two domains.

But, you have to know, that regular wordpress multisite instance does not support multi-domain configuration (same as BeTheme), the multisite it's working only on the same domain - so you can use single license key on them.

So, if you will follow official documentation of the wordpress about creating a network of sites, it will surely work correctly, as it should ?

    Thanks
