Portfolio Listing

On the portfolio listing page:

  1. How do I change the portfolio header listing to h3 instead of h5?
  2. How do I make the entire box clickable?

Here's a sample of how it looks like https://ibb.co/3C3ZSVd

  • Adding on to another request.

I noticed that my portfolio category page inherits the portfolio post page content along with the listing content below. It should be similar to the portfolio listing page with a filter on the selected category. Kindly advise. Thanks!

  • Hello,

1,2) Only way to achieve that is to modify the theme files.

But we do not provide support with such customization, so unfortunately we cannot be any help for you in that case.

    3) Please always attach a link to your website so we can check it out. If the page is offline(localhost) then our help will be limited, you will have to contact us when the page is online. Also please make sure that the page is not under maintenance before you provide us the link.

It is always a good idea to also attach a screenshot.

    Best regards

  • For point 3, is there a way I can share the link privately?

Here's the screenshot. The Portfolio Category should be similar to the portfolio listing with the category selected in the filter.

    Thanks

  • Thanks Phil. I've just sent you the information.

  • But, i'm not sure if I understand - the main portfolio page and category page are very different pages, they are using completely different layout.

The category page is just wordpress dynamically created page and we cannot control it in any way using the theme options or wordpress options - you would have to edit the wordpress files to make some bigger changes.

    thanks

The main portfolio page contains filters for the portfolio page. If you click on that category, it should appear the same as the main portfolio page layout except that the filters would be preselected to that specific category.

Somehow that portfolio category link inherits the portfolio page layout.

This logic is similar to the blog where you have a blog listing page, blog post, and blog category page. Where the blog listing page and the blog category page has a similar layout. You can check out the link that I've sent to your support team privately.

It seems like there is a bug. Hope that explains clearly.

On another note, my portfolio listing page (/use-cases) can only load up to 9 posts and if I click on the "load more" button, it doesn't load. I have tried the same when I turn on pagination, it throws an error. Can you advise how to fix this?

  • The portfolio items will inherit the items, sidebars from the main portfolio page, this is normal - it's like you said, like in blog.

There is a workaround, please create another page and insert content that should be displayed ONLY on the main portfolio page, then after that content, insert new section with portfolio item inside - it will be your new 'portfolio' page which will be displayed for user.

Do not forget, about removing that content from the original main portfolio page, otherwise that content will display on single portfolio items too.

    thanks

  • Thanks for the workaround. I'll do that. Thanks!
