Deregister and register license from staging to live website

Hello there,

we tried updating plugins on our live-website https://wingsofchange.co/ and received error messaged for all theme included plugins. Message: The package could not be installed. The package contains no files.

We then checked visited the support forum and before posting here we went to check the license status on your http://api.muffingroup.com/licenses/ page and ended up seeing that the license was connected to the wrong and old staging domain afsana.customer.ws, which has already been deleted, when we launched the website.

So we deactived it on this page. Now we were trying to activate/check the license once again with the correct finale live domain but that doesn't work anymore and gives us this error message "The purchase code has not been used to register Betheme or the username does not match the purchase code."

What did we do wrong here? Weren't we supposed to deactivate the old staging domain license and shouldn't we be able to activate the theme only with the 1 live domain we purchased it for?

One theme settings page the correct license code is activated successfully as we followed your steps about deregistering a theme on the staging website and registering it on the live server after launch:

On the profile page we also receive an error message when we try to enter the license code once again:

But our support period is running only in 26 days from now, so why does it not work to enter the key again and connect it to the correct domain and get support? This is confusing and frustrating.

We are very happy with the theme, only that we obviously need to be able to solve this issue, in order to update these plugins also in the future.

And could the above license issues be the reason for the error message during the plugin updates or does that not correlate?

If not, could the updating issues be linked to the servers configuration and should we contact server support to correct the PHP Time Limit and Max Input Vars to the recommended?

    Hello,

    Can you deregister the code from actual domain and register it once more? - then try to update your plugins (also, disable all of the plugins before doing that)

    Also, remember, that api tool is made for deregistering only, you cannot register your license key by this tool.
