Not able to update WPBakery Page Builder

Hello,

I'm trying to update the WPBakery Page Builder plugin from the bundle plugin list. While updating it's asking for license activation. It should be included with the theme bundle.

    Hi,

    purchase codes (license keys) are not included for plugins which are bundled into the theme. It’s because of Themeforest license & agreements. This applies to all themes of course. However, there is no need to use this code because the plugins are fully functional without it.

    Something like “Free” version of a plugin does not exist. All bundled plugins are included with extended licenses and users can use these plugins within the theme without needing to purchase them separately. This is standard and according to ThemeForest rules.

    Do you have Betheme license key activated on that website?

    If yes, please, try to deregister and register it in Betheme dashboard, and check if WPB will update then.

    Please, do a backup of your website using Duplicator plugin, and try to uninstall and install the WPBakery.

    Hi Phil,

    Thank you It worked. However, I also forgot to mention about one issue we are experiencing after we update the theme. After updating the theme, the Custom scrollbar and smooth scrolling stopped working. We added CSS in order to make scrollbar custom the way it was before but not sure why smooth scrolling doesn't work now.

    Sorry, but we stopped supporting the Smooth Scroll because it was causing some issues with our theme, and default scroll offers the best scroll experience in modern browsers.

    If you would to still have this feature on your website, you will have to use some third-party plugin, but we cannot recommend any plugins other than the ones we support. You can find the list on this page, in the sidebar:
