Contact form 7: 5.4.1. is not working anymore after update

Dear Muffingroup,

After the new update i found out that the contact form 7 is not working properly anymore.

It will give the user the following message. "There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.” with an orange banner." It also doesn't sent any email to correspondent user.

I have try to found on the web what can be fixed so I have tried the following steps from this article.

I have tried everything, cleared the cache, removed the recaptcha v3, cloned the form, created a new form. But even then message still appeared. Is there anything that can be fixed.

    Did you try to turn off all of the plugins except the contact form and check if it works then? If not, can you do that, please? Moreover, if you are using a child theme, please, switch to parent.

    I need to ensure, before the update, it was working correctly, right?

    Yes i did all of that,

    • Deactivated all plugins -> no succes
    • Deactivated child theme -> no succes
    • Created new form within CF7 -> no succes
    • Cloned current form -> no succes
    • Compared JS Code from Live and Development site -> no succes
    • Compared settings and mail -> no succes
    • Downgrade CF7 -> into 5.3.1 -> no succes

    I found out that the message from CF7 its about failed situation.

    • The message has been marked as spam
    • Message could not be sent

    Iam really clueless

  • Please, switch to some free theme like Twenty Twenty, and check if this problem persists.

    If, after that, the problem remains, then it means that it is not a problem with Betheme but with Contact Form, and you should contact their support to ask about this issue.

    But if switching themes helped, then send us WordPress dashboard access privately through the contact form, which is on the right side at http://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact will check what might be the reason.
