Layer slider can not be updated

I prolonged my support, and wanted to update the Layer slider plugin, that comes with the Betheme. But it gives the following error:

License activation is required to receive updates. Please read our online documentation to learn more.

Hello,

You are probably trying to update the plugin in the wrong place.

Bundled plugins can be updated through Betheme -> Install Plugins.

No, I indeed do that from that location. But still got the same message.

I have deactivated the Layer Slider, and I was able to update it then through Betheme -> Install plugins.

Now, this plugin is up-to-date.
