Muffin Builder sections disappear if editing a published page

I have a strange unseen issue and hope someone is familiar with it. I've used BeTheme for years, and built a new page earlier this year: https://zorzstudios.com/about/zorz-advantage-20-things-that-make-me-different-as-a-photographer/. All worked fine.

Now I came to add a few more sections. As soon as I add anything and update the page, the last 3-4 old sections get erased while the last section that remains changes its style from "Full Width" to "Default" on its own.

I was lucky to save (export) the page before messing it up so I keep restoring that page. I played for several hours with lots of update variations trying to pinpoint the cause. Tried duplicating an existing section and starting new, proactively deleting the last 3-4 sections to see if there is a problem with them. Also disabled ALL plugins to troubleshoot—same result.

What might be an issue? My first time seeing this in 5 years... Thank you.

You have a low max input vars value set on your server.

Please, contact your hosting provider, and ask to increase it to at least 5000.
