Unable to update and activate BeCustom plugin

I've registered the theme and I'm trying to install the bundled plugins, but the BeCustom plugin says that it needs to be updated from version 1.0.5.1 to version 1.0.5.2 before it can be activated.

When I try to update the plugin, it seems to update without issue:

But then it doesn't seem to have been updated.

I tried deleting the BeCustom folder in the plugins folder and reinstalling, but the issue persisted.


I'm running:

  • Wordpress 6.0.1
  • PHP  7.4.30
  • MySQL 5.5.68
  • Betheme 26.4.0.6
