Mobile Menu Dropdown Styling

I am trying to figure out how to adjust the color and style of the '+' in a dropdown menu on mobile. They are very faint and difficult to see. I found the following in the forum, but it did not work (probably out of date?):

#Top_bar #menu ul li.submenu .menu-toggle {opacity:1 !important}

Can you please advise on how to make the menu toggles (+) white and bold? See attached screen capture, submenus for About Us and Our Services:

Please, try the following CSS:

#Side_slide #menu ul li.submenu .menu-toggle:after{
   color: #fff!important;
}
#Side_slide #menu ul li.submenu .menu-toggle{
   opacity: 1!important;
}

Put it in Betheme -> Theme options -> Custom CSS & JS -> CSS.
