In this case, you should use the inline CSS code for the element to margin the title, because the structure you made is hard to catch exactly one or few elements and do not mess with other.
Why don't you use the new Icon Box element for that? Give it a try it will allow you to customize elements much easier than column item.

Hi- we have ended up using an image instead.
However there is a little too much white space- can this be reduced in any way? I see no padding or anything on to adjust it
