style.php slows down site

Good day BeTheme support

Running our site globalvillage.world through http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/5wRL5/http://globalvillage.world/ We have noticed that style-one.php?ver=8.0 and style.php?ver=8.0 is giving 14 seconds waiting time to load.

Can you please explain to us why this would be?

Hi,

this is dynamic css and that's why it works like it works. Without these files you won't be able to do changes in the muffin options section. However if you finished your website, you can switch to static css but please remember that options from muffin options won't work after this change.

Aah, Thanks for the info. I actually tried out switch the static css option once, but the site showed very differently with colors and fonts normally associated with css. That was quickly switched back, and never touched it again

Now I know the reason for it.

Thank you for all the great updated to to latest theme version. Especially the option to remove table hover effect. Could never get that out with custom css.

I tried also to use the static css.
I copied the content of the two .php-stylesheets into the static css. But after that, the site looks not correct.

should i copy the WHOLE content as written under "14. Static CSS / Page speed"?

@serviceomega You should copy the result of this file under browser. You probably copied php code from files on FTP and that's why it does not work.

OK, i found it out...
I had to change the theme color manually. But now it works.

But the loading speed isn't much better...
What else can be done?

@serviceomega It means that you are doing it still wrong. If you will send url to page where you did it, we'll show you what you did wrong.
