Betheme upgrade & license problem

 Hello,

I'm in trouble with BeTheme. Indeed, I tried to upgrade from version 20.8 to version 26.6.6 without success. I keep getting an error message that says "An error occurred while updating Betheme: The package could not be installed. The package contains no files." although I have a valid license. In addition, now after that "Slider revolution" has deactivated and tells me that I have to upgrade it to reactivate it, but I can't and my site is down. I went so far as to buy a new BeTheme license to try to allow the upgrade, but when I try to do a "Deregister Theme" to delete the old license and apply the new one, the system tells me "Referer domain is different than registered domain. Please contact us using contact form on our Themeforest profile page:

https://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup".

In short, I lost considerable time and my site is dysfunctional by BeTheme works halfway. So I'm a bit disappointed by all of this.

How can we move forward so that I can finally update my BeTheme?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Sincerely.

Raphael.

PS : At the moment, I have no access to the full old license key which is currently installed.

  • Hey,

    1) This message you got could mean that your license key is used on more than one domain. In order to resolve that, you should use the license manager to handle your license keys: http://forum.muffingroup.com/betheme/discussion/36219/cannot-register-deregister-your-license-key-use-this-tool#latest.

If you would saw (on our license manager) that your license key is registered on a single domain, you should please disable all of the plugins and deregister that license key (through the BeTheme -> Dashboard).

After that, get into the license manager once more. If the license key is still claimed - deregister it. If it’s not, register it again on your domain (through the BeTheme -> Dashboard) and try to update your theme/plugins a couple of times (usually, it passes after 2-3 attempts) - remember, all of the plugins have to be disabled.

    2) About the second message you got, did you contact us through the contact form as the message says?

If not, please do that thru the contact form, which is on the right side at http://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact and we will check what might be the reason.

    Thanks
