Child Theme - Help

Hi,

I created a child theme as i was thinking when gets updated we do not lose any changes, so in the Theme options in the Custom CSS section i coped all that to the child theme style.css and activated / refreshed page and hte "Menu" didnt go centered like it was meant to. but as soon as i put the css styles into the Theme Options section the menu gets centered? is there a reason for this like do i need to have a Child theme for "Be Themes" or not?

Hi,

the only place where you can use css for child theme is style.css file and that's the only place where you should use child theme css. More information about child theme you can read on https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

thats what i mean i created a child theme and added the css code i have used in the theme options - custom css but it doesnt get applied when child theme activated

But you can't use it under theme options. You should use this in style.css file of child theme (we mean file on FTP).

Hi,

What i mean i copied all of my Custom CSS Rules from the Theme Options Custom CSS i was using to the style.css of the Child Theme. but it doenst seem to get applied

I managed to fix it now

i just re-installed the BeTheme Child theme, and it fixed the problem
