Setting a variable icon for an element in the backend

Hi guys!

I'm working with a client who wants to have an image preview as the element icon in the backend of a WPBakery page. This is already done in the Single Image element which already comes with WPBakery... Does anyone know how to do it? I've been trying but failed for several hours.

  • Hi,

Can you attach some examples showing what you want to achieve, please?

Did you check the official WPBakery website?

    Best regards

  • Hi!

Here's a screenshot. The first element comes with WPBakery, it is a Single Image. The second one is an element made by me where you add an image and some text.

What I'd like to do is make the icon on my element match the picture uploaded, just like the first element does.

I checked the website and documentation but couldn't find anything.. Not even a forum.

    Thanks for your response!

  • What you ask for requires file customization, which is not allowed in reference to Item Support Policy. http://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy

So if you want to modify files and don't know how to contact your web developer. Item Policy says:

Item support does not include services to modify or extend the item beyond the original features, style, and functionality described on the item page. For customization services that will help you tailor the item to your specific requirements, we recommend contacting the author to see if they privately offer paid customization services or checking out the great service providers on Envato Studio.

    Thanks
