Why The Reset to Defaults reset all the theme options ?!!

Hi
I done some changes in the body background color in the colors section , then I decide to reset that colors , when click the reset to defaults button in the colors section, it reset all the options , and I think the reset to defaults in the colors section must reset only the colors not the entire options , some explaining please .

Hi,

before you confirmed this, you had a popup message were you got the info that this option will restore all muffin options to default. So you confirmed this and that's why all options were reset. And because whole muffin options panel is one element, it is not possible to split saving on different sections.

I didn't see that popup , okay , but I think it will be better to give each section his reset to defaults button

It's not true that you did not saw it. Probably you just skip this information and you checked that you agree. You can click on this button once gain and you will see below information:

Are you sure? Resetting will loose all custom values!

We'll consider this while future updates because at this moment we are not sure if this can be done.

will the reset button make changes to the content on the pages, or it will only reset the appearence?

The "Reset to Defaults" button in Theme Options > Backup & Reset only overwrite(reset) the theme options to the default values - your pages will be not touched.
