Internet Explorer compatibility issues

Hi,

I've noticed that in IE the text on my homepage with the default roboto font shows up as bold and much larger than in Chrome, Firefox and Safari. Also, the icons are tiny in the icon boxes. Is there a way to fix this to make them display consistently across browsers?

@thammy01 Can you make a screenshot of what you mean? Because we have opened your website in IE and Chrome and all is fine. We don`t see any problems at all. To send us screenshot you can use http://snag.gy/

1. See explorer version. As may see the MENU has issues and whilst FireFox has Circles Explorer has Squares.
2. See chrome version. As you may see the menu is hidden kinda like when u open the website on mobiles.

1. Did you noticed what html errors you have in the code? Please open your website in Firefox html mode (CTRL+U) and check how many html errors you got. Please fix them first and all should be fine. Those errors definitely not come with theme what you can see on our demo, what means you did something wrong on your side.

2. This menu is related with small screen size. If you want to activate this menu on smaller screens, then please have a look on http://forum.muffingroup.com/betheme/discussion/29/responsive-toggle-value

I'm also having issues with explorer. The layouts all wrong. Title above logo and menu, no header image etc.

IE8, had a customer having issues with submitting forms and menu layout as seen in the image attached above.

@bbpost As you can see in the description, we do not support IE8. This is very old browser and not supported even by Microsoft.

Hi,

I noticed this problem to for some of the sites I created in BeTheme.

The font size appears thinner in Chrome and Safari than in Firefox.

@PhilHil There is no fix for this unfortunately because each browser parse fonts completely different. This is the reason why the same fonts can't look exactly the same in each browser.
