Architect6 builder failing

Hello,

Since 6 months I'm working with the Architect6 template. It's really beautiful, but the builder fails soooo many times when I make adjustments and messes up the design settings (alignment, background color, spacing,...).

The changes appear well in the Bebuilder view, but when I update it and look at the front-end the whole layout is messed up. The solution I found is to export a page and import it in a new page. Then the layout is often recovered, but not 100% of the time. (see differences of layout in builder & frond-end in attachment)

Is someone else experiencing troubles with this template?

I build more than 10 websites with Betheme so it's not my first time with the builder, but the first time I experience this kind of trouble.

Many thanks in advance!

  • Hi,

Are you using any optimization plugins?

Do you currently have a page that displays incorrectly on the front end that you can send a link to so we can check it out?

  • Hello Phil,

Thank you for your prompt reply! Here you have a page that is currently looking bad: https://fedrus.capptain.be/our-team/

You find a screenshot of our plugins in attachment.

  • Hello Phil,

It just happened again. Overnight the page was fixed somehow, but now that I make changes it fails again. In attachment you can see that in the builder there is spacing above/underneath the quote and it's centered but when you visit the page, the space is gone and it's not centered anymore.

And I didn't even touch this quote, I deleted something else on the page and then suddenly this quote layout changes.

I hope this helps you figure out what the problem is.

    Many thanks,

    Kristof

  • Currently, it displays correctly for me.

There is a possibility that your website changes the URL from http to HTTPS, which is incorrect, generates a mixed content error, and styles are not loaded correctly.

Your htaccess can redirect your website to http, so you should edit it and change it to https.

Please check that and let me know if it helped.

  • Hello Phil,

Thank you for your reply. I tried in several browsers and with me it's looking bad on this link: https://fedrus.capptain.be/our-team/

We use nginx as a webserver and all requests are forwarded to https. As you can see, all source files are also loaded through HTTPS. All other websites have the same configuration and don't have this issue.

Thank you for looking into this because our client wants access to make changes themselves but I'm really afraid to give them access when the builder is so fragile.

  • It seems to be related to this option.

When I switched to the External file, it seemed to work properly, and I will leave this option for now.

For further investigation, I need you to send us your FTP access. Please do it as you did with the WP dashboard, and remember to attach a link to this forum discussion.

    Thanks
