Help with woocommerce side menu

Hi all,

I am using a custom mega menu template, woo commerce template, and footer template with a new build,

im trying to add a side menu to my shop, so i can add filters etc for my products, i have added categories to the woo-commerce widgets area but it does not display when I view a shop product,

i must have missed something, this is the first time using templates, so far they are working well for the header and footer, shop products.

I have played around and I can get the sidebar to work from the widgets area, but i don't know how to enable the side Canvis sidebar option. how do I enable the click, I don't see how to add the filter options shown in the video, is done in the shop template?? to add filters at the top

also, how do I create an off Canvis sidebar, is this in templates, or is it just a setting like left or right side bar.

i have imported a new localhost site diet shop to see how the side menu works, i can make a side menu with a category list, but I don't know how to get the arrows that work as below.

How do i set this up?

when i imported the theme to localhost to have a look at how it was made, it did not bring the side menu in.

Hi Phil, thank you for the information,

I have made a custom side menu, which is working for how I want the filtering to run.

But how do I only show the Attribute category for the selected area? I don't want Catagorys Frameless Glass to show on the sidebar when im looking at the Category Balustrading, the sidebar is using the woo commerce widgets area, And the be shop Attribute

If i turn off the Attributes it does not show on the side menu at all,

To achieve that, you would have to create a separate sidebar for each category and a separate category template to which you can assign the sidebar with appropriate attributes.
