Template Problem
Hey there Beforum,
I wanna use the same template over and over again for a portfolio side (they should all look the same!) so how do I achieve this?
Should I use global Sections or is there an option to create a portfolio template with betheme and use it over and over again since global wraps doesn't contain some predone elements like "Portfolio Template".
If they arent for this use what is the exact scenario to use a Portfolio Template?

Do you need a ready-to-go layout that you would slightly change according to the portfolio page, or all portfolio pages should look the same, and only things like featured images or text will differ?

For the first scenario, you can use the page template. See the following article:

We do not have a video tutorial directly about this feature, but I believe it is pretty intuitive. However, if you choose this option and have any struggles with it, please let me know, and I will gladly assist you.

With the first scenario I dont have the possiblity to add things like "Post Title" if I may be right?
In the second scenario sadly I only found the way of creating a "Single Portfolio Template" (A) and then creating a portfolio Item (B) and setting the "Post Template" to the created "Single Portfolio Template" (A) but it also ends up not showing me my template (A) insert in the end in my Portfolio Item (B).
If you would assist me on this I would be glad (I am sorry Wordpress Beginner here)

3) A Portfolio template is a template for the archive page of the portfolio (list of your single portfolio pages). Single Portfolio template is a template for this post type pages (single portfolios).

Firstly, when you already assign a condition in the single portfolio template to assign it to all projects, you do not have to do the same thing on the portfolio page. Secondly, single portfolio template does not display in the portfolio edit, however, when you publish it you will see the template on a live page.

So its not possible to to a image gallery with it right? Since it will be the same image gallery on each page?
You can add Image Gallery in the each single portfolio page content.
