Woopayments input background issue after update

After updating the theme, Input fields of woopayments have same background and text colors in checkout, so the field is unreadable while entering informations.

Switching to default theme solve the problem.

    Thanks

  • here it is: https://www.18percento.it

You can put a product in the cart from here: https://www.18percento.it/prodotto/workshop-collodio-advanced-marzo/

Then in the checkout you can see the problem on credit cards payments block.

    Thanks in advance

  • WooPayments puts this field there with iframe, which has its own styles, and we do not have control over them.

You should contact the plugin author regarding this.

    Best regards

  • Thank you. I had already contacted WooCommerce Payments support prior to reaching out to you. They indicated that the issue is due to a compatibility problem with the theme. They noted that switching to a default theme, such as Twenty Four, resolves the issue and restores the background to white.

  • As previously mentioned, the plugin support suggested that the issue stemmed from a compatibility problem with the theme, since switching to a default theme resolved the problem.

It is true that the styles are contained within an iframe set by woopayments, but somehow, they seemed to be influenced by the theme (as evidenced by the Abel font used on my site).

However, I have found a solution which may be useful for you to know for addressing similar issues in the future: within the wp_options table, the styles applied to the iframe are stored in the _transient_wcpay_upe_appearance field (it remains to be understood whether those values are somehow influenced by the theme). I manually changed the background value to rgb(255, 255, 255), and now the form functions correctly.

    Thank you.

  • If you want us to examine this further, please send us the WordPress dashboard and FTP access privately through the contact form, which is on the right side at https://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact. We will then check what the reason might be.
