php.ini "max_input_vars"

Moin.

I've just installed the Betheme. Unfortunately the dashboard shows me the hint, that max_input_vars has to increase up to 5000 (instead of 4000).

Because I'm currently hosted by a low-cost-provider (Strato) obviously I haven't got access to the php.ini to change the setting.

1. What could I do instead?

2. What's happen if I don't change max_input_vars?

Hello,

1. You have to contact the hosting provider support to get it increased.

2. If you will have a lot of content on your page, then some of the last section elements could disappear.

The provider doesn't help me. But I've got the solution by another way. I have had to create a ".user.ini" within the code "max_input_vars = 5000".

It works.

Hi najock

did you simply add the file user.ini and did you put only this single line? I encounter the same problem but the server does not react upon the user.ini

Any help would ber very much appreciated
