Problem with product attribute filters

Hi, I have a problem with filtering products by attributes.

In my shop I have the product attribute ‘brand’.

At the first brand filtering the filter works correctly.

Then, when I click on ‘reset filter’, all the attributes (brand list) disappear and I can no longer filter.

After a timeout the brand list reappears.

I attach the video with the problem.

Thanks!

  • I checked your website and could not replicate this issue.

I uploaded a video to your media library showing the steps I proceeded:

Can you check if I did all the steps properly?

    Best regards

  • I saw the video and the actions to filter are right.

This is really strange. I tried with different browsers and these are the results

    Desktop:

    • Firefox --> works perfectly
    • Chrome --> has the issue with the 2nd filtering, after some time filters work for 1 time
    • Safari --> same as chrome

    Mobile:

    • android + chrome mobile --> works at the beginning but after 4-5 filtering and navigating in the product categories the problem appers
    • android + firefox mobile --> works perfectly

it seems that the problem is only visible with certain browsers

    Thanks Ivan

  • I was able to reproduce it on Chrome.

We are checking at what might be the root cause.

    Best regards

  • The following widget is the root cause:

When it is not present, the problem is gone.

I tested it with the Storefront theme, and it works in the same way there.

You should report this issue to WooCommerce support. For now, I can only suggest removing this widget.

    Best regards

  • Thanks Phil, I'll remove temporarily this widget and will ask to woocommerce support.

Could you roll-back the changes you applied?

Now I see the sidebar corrupted.

    Thanks!

  • I did not perform any changes in the sidebar that could cause that.

Also, it displays like this for me:

    I see, now it's ok!

I confirm that without the ‘Active filters’ widget everything works fine!

    Thanks
