Slug not showing

Hello,

I created a slug for one of my published pages, but it doesn't seem to show when I view it.

Instead, I see the page number ID. Is this related to the theme and if so, is there another way to rename it so it appears?

    Hi,

    It is not related to the theme. It is a WordPress configuration.

    Go to Settings -> Permalinks, and check if you do not have the permalinks structure set to Plain.

    They were indeed set to "plain". I switched the settings to "post-name", but unfortunately, that gave me 404 errors (broken links?). 😥

    I understand that's not part of the theme, but if you can help, any suggestions will be welcome! Thank you in all cases!

    When you change it from plain to another structure, then the links are different now. So now the links are no longer like https://yourwebite.com/?page_id=1, but https://yourwebite.com/page, so the previous links will show 404.

    I quite do not understand how I should help you with that, as you wanted to change this structure.
